    To provide an appropriate entertainment presence in every community for youth that will aid in the understanding and achievement of individual potential, while imparting necessary skills such as self-confidence, self-esteem, responsibility, respect, and the value of teamwork.

About Us

    The Kreative Youth Demonstrating Skills (KYDS) Foundation was founded by Nakia Walker in 2005. KYDS Foundation is not a school, but an organization that provides performing arts and entertainment programs through a workshop or seminar, in a classroom environment. The primary goal is to offer an outlet for youth that will promote creativity, encourage academic excellence, and Believing in yourself plays a very significant role in your life, as self-confidence can be synonymous to success and positive growth. The exploration of music opens doors and creates opportunities beyond belief. Our goal is to reach out to youth and demonstrate life lessons through music. The KYDS program affords youth the opportunity to have something to hope for, as they create music, stage plays, poetry, and more!
